Dear Praying Friends,
We want to send out a special thanks to all those who have been praying and giving to help us in the unexpected vehicle repair expense from a couple weeks back. God has provided greatly, and we are happy to report that as of yesterday evening, the total promises of help and actual receipts have just surpassed the expense of the vehicle repair. Thank you so much for interceding and stepping in on our behalf! We serve an awesome God who continues to remind us that He is in control of all things!
We also want to mention two new prayer requests. First, George is meeting with a man tomorrow who seemingly needs Christ. A few weeks ago he mentioned to George (in a “chance” meeting on the street near our house) that he felt he was on the wrong path and needed to talk to someone. George had never said more to him than a simple “hello” or two . . . so for a while now George has been trying to follow up and now finally has a chance tomorrow to begin a conversation with this man. Please pray the Holy Spirit will be at work.
Second, please pray for Hannah Bennett, one of our team members. On Sunday, she went into hospital for asthma issues resulting from severe smoke in our town (resulting from yet another round of fires in the nearby forests). We figured she would be released the next day, but here we are at Wednesday night, and she’s still having difficulty and has not been sent home yet. Please pray for a speedy recovery for her.
